  • Geography: Malaysia is the door to Asean - a 500 million population market. After the 1997 Asian economic crisis, Asean countries have been seeking and creating trade opportunities to spur their economies. As a result, trade exhibitions held in Malaysia are able to enjoy these opportunities from her neighboring countries.
  • Language: Malaysia, a former British colony, uses English as the medium in the trade and education sectors. English is also the common language between various ethnics groups. The common use of English promotes the participation of western countries such as US and Europe. Furthermore, the national language of Malaysia, Malay also appeals to the neighboring Malay speaking countries. Chinese languages such as Mandarin, Cantonese, Fujian and other dialects are also widely spoken among the Malaysian Chinese communities, enhancing trading with Chinese speaking countries.
  • Facilities: Malaysia is well equipped with transportation networks, highways, rails, airports and sea ports, which are strategically located and aggressively developed. Kuala Lumpur is the heart of the Malaysian rail transportation network, spreading across the peninsular all the way to Bangkok and Singapore.
